What we do
Save Pangolins supports conservation actions in Africa and Asia and raises public awareness of pangolins around the world.
We envision a world where all eight pangolin species are safe from extinction. To get there, we must stop the killing, stop the trafficking, and stop the demand. Save Pangolins aims to inspire people to conserve pangolins, change behavior that drives the illegal trade, and increase the capacity of conservation on the ground where pangolins live. We provide expertise and leadership in coordinating global pangolin conservation efforts and run campaigns that engage the public and generate funds for conservation.
Save Pangolins supports conservation projects around the world that are working to ensure no pangolin goes extinct. In addition to raising awareness of pangolins through our social media campaigns and facilitating greater collaboration and communication between conservation organizations, we fund a wide range of effective pangolin conservation efforts.
Our three granting programs:
Pangolin Crisis Fund: together with the Wildlife Conservation Network, we manage the PCF which funds the most effective conservation projects around the world.
Our Pangolin Champions Program supports individual conservationists who are emerging leaders in pangolin conservation. These conservationists are chosen because of their dedication to pangolins, and their projects are in support of Save Pangolins’ mission.
Our Innovation Grants provide support to key projects that offer creative, targeted conservation solutions that are often harder to find funding for.
